What if...First Contact has already taken place...

What if there is life on other planets and what if we know it already, we have encountered them. What if First Contact has already taken place...

There are of course hundreds of supposed sightings of UFO's every year and vast majority are considered to be either fake, explained natural earthly phenomena, or easily explained with a rational explanation. Some though remain unexplained and some potentially covered up. ..


Could the crowd sourcing community of the world fund a project to collate and  research these sightings?...

The governments of the world of course, especially the US have published their research on these matters. Notably, Project Blue Book, which concluded:

• No UFO reported, investigated, and evaluated by the Air Force has ever given any indication of threat to our national security.
• There has been no evidence submitted to or discovered by the Air Force that sightings categorized as "unidentified" represent technological developments or principles beyond the range of present-day scientific knowledge.
• There has been no evidence indicating that sightings categorized as "unidentified" are extraterrestrial vehicles.

Officially the US Department of Defense are no longer investigating these matters. Unofficially is another matter; a theory which is of course supported by the vast number of rumours, denials and  speculation about Area 51 in the Nevada desert. We may never find out what goes on within the confines of Groom Lake or the Nevada Test and Training Range.

So for now, nothing official is being done about this. No-one is investigating and cataloguing these sightings. But why does this have to be orchestrated by a national government, surely resources could be put together to establish a worldwide research facility that did just that, research worldwide UFO sightings. And the results, good bad or indifferent, there would be no cover up, they could be published instantly for the whole world to see,  This would be a little like the Seti Institute in is composition, but rather than search for extra terrestrials out there, we would be searching for evidence of them having been here.

So how much do we need to raise to get this started? A £100,000, a £million, or perhaps £100 Million. Lets start with a reasonable target. Once funded we can start the research project, set up some on-line resources and collate together what we know. Of course it is not just about the money, we need knowledge, expertise and cases, old, new , unresolved, resolved and lots and lots of input from the world at large...

Of course, there may be nothing there.  Not here anyway. We do however exist in a vast universe , with millions upon millions of star systems. Alien Races some advanced, some not, will exist somewhere and some may have mastered the capability of travel beyond the speed of light. Soi if they have not visited yet they may well do soon. Who knows how soon...
